The initial psychological assessment is your starting point for clear direction and relief. In this extended first meeting, I listen closely to your story, medical background, and past counseling, then map out how anxiety, mood, trauma, relationships, work, and health may be affecting you right now. 


Together we identify what you most want to change and what daily life would look like if therapy is helpful. By the end of this assessment, you leave with a grounded understanding of what is happening, which methods I recommend (such as CBT, EMDR, or mindfulness-based work), and realistic next steps so treatment feels organized, respectful, and focused on goals that matter to you.
