I teach mindfulness practices to help you notice feelings without instantly reacting, along with distress-tolerance tools for crisis moments when urges to shut down, lash out, or self-sabotage are strong.
We also work on emotion regulation, learning how to name feelings accurately and reduce emotional "whiplash," and on interpersonal effectiveness, so you can ask for what you need and set limits without escalating conflict. DBT is especially helpful if you feel "too sensitive," overwhelmed, or stuck in chaotic relationship patterns. Sessions are delivered via secure online therapy for adults in Hawaii.
